Chilli Con Carne

Chilli Con Carne

Ingredients:

1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 medium onions, chopped
2 mixed peppers
450g lean ground beef
400g tin red kidney beans
400g tin of chopped tomatoes
150 ml water
1 packet of Knorr Chilli Con Carne Mealmaker
Tortillas, rice and sour cream to serve

Method:

1. Stirfry the onion in a little oil until soft, add the ground beef and fry until browned through, drain off the excess fat.
2. Mix the contents of Knorr Chilli Con Carne Mealmaker with water, add to the pan.
3. Add the peppers, tin of tomatoes and kidney beans and bring to the boil stirring continuously.
4. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 mins until thoroughly cooked. Ensure dish is piping hot and serve on a bed of rice with sour cream and tortillas.
